First formal planning session with Tiphanie. Mapped the property, identified sun patterns, existing trees, drainage. Starting to research what grows in Zone 3b.

The vision: layers. Canopy trees (apple, plum, maybe hazelnut). Understory (serviceberry, elderberry). Shrubs (currants, gooseberry). Ground cover (strawberry, clover). Herbs (comfrey as the workhorse). Vines on the fence line.
